TTT+Partners successfully advised Bangkok Mass Transit System PCL to reach a successful settlement for the payment of THB 23 billion of outstanding debt for the BTS Skytrain Project.
The debt, due under the Sales and Installation of the Electrical System Agreement of the extension of the BTS Skytrain Project in Bangkok, was to be paid by one of its contractual parties. Despite the debt originally being due in 2021, BTSC had not received any payment. However, following prolonged yet successful negotiations, BTSC has now received approximately THB 23 billion in payment from the state agency.
The TTT+Partners Projects & Infrastructure team was lead by Jirapat Thammavaranucupt, working alongside Sitthi Meesit, Wachirawit Ongkhana, and Hussapak Butloetcharoen.
