We are pleased to announce that TTT+Partners was Thai counsel to International Beverage Holdings Limited (a member of the ThaiBev group) in relation to its EUR 40 million acquisition of the “Larsen” cognac business from the Anora Group PLC, a leading Nordic distilled beverage and wine company.
The proposed acquisition includes Larsen’s production site and eau-de-vie maturation stock in Cognac, France, as well as its cognac brands “Larsen”, “Renault” and “Monopol”, as well as its brandy brand “Ibis”. The transaction is part of ThaiBev’s strategy to expand its portfolio of premium spirits brands, and marks the group’s first move into the Cognac business.
TTT+Partners worked closely with the Clifford Chance corporate and intellectual property teams (Paris office and London office) to support ThaiBev group in the negotiation and closing of this landmark deal.
