PTT Group’s Legal Academy in collaboration with PTT Leadership and Learning Institute (PLLI), organized an executive training course titled “Directors’ and Executive Liabilities under Corporate Law held at PTT offices and accessible online on July 4, 2024.
Khun Peangpanor Boonklum, Senior Executive Vice President, Office of General Counsel kindly chaired the event and introduced our team which included Khun Veeranuch Thammavaranucupt, Khun Pathorn Towongchuen, and Khun Jittipong Champreechar.
The objective of the course was to enhance both theoretical and practical understanding amongst employees in the Legal Department as well as other parts of the organization.
Topics covered included directors’ and executive liabilities from a range of angles, the separation of duties between directors and executives, the responsibilities of PTT executives assigned as directors or executives of the companies within PTT’s subsidiaries, and decision-making in situations where the interests of PTT’s subsidiaries might conflict with those of PTT. Additionally, case studies of real situations were presented and discussed to help participants grasp the practical implications and appropriate ways to manage them.
