The Trade Competition Commission of Thailand (TCCT) organised an executive training course titled “Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) and Antitrust Law: Practical Linkages, Transaction Procedures, and Regulatory Implications”, held on 12 September 2025 at the Asawin Grand Convention Hotel in Bangkok.
The event was kindly chaired by Assoc. Prof. Sudharma Yoonaidharma, Vice-Chairman of the Trade Competition Commission, and attended by over 50 officials of the TCCT, including Mr. Thongchai Chawalitpichaet, Commissioner, Dr. Montree Kanokwaree, Deputy Secretary-General and Mr. Manayos Vardhanabhuti, Deputy Secretary-General of the Trade Competition Commission.
TTT+Partners, represented by Veeranuch Thamavaranucupt, Parithat Chamnongsilp, Supasiri Korattana, and Kanatat Damrongchaitham, was honored to be invited as guest lecturers.
The objective of the session was to strengthen the legal capabilities of TCCT team by sharing practical experience and legal insights on M&A transactions and competition law.
Topics covered included the objectives and structures of M&A transactions, deal structuring considerations, key issues in Share Purchase Agreements (SPAs), Thai M&A case studies, and future legal trends on anti-trust and competition law. The session also provided a platform for open discussion and experience sharing between practitioners and regulators.
